My Weekly Pre-Gathering Prayer

I was talking to my friend, tech guru and part-time worship leader Shawn Wallace. I said something about my pre-gathering bathroom prayer.

“What?”

Here it is. My 5:55 PM prayer. In the bathroom, on one knee.

“God, tonight before anything comes from my mouth, may it be birthed in the heavens, connect with my spirit, and come from my mouth. May nothing be said or done tonight that misrepresents you. May I only do and speak the things that bring you clarity and glory.”
